TV Sewer Inspection

Televising and video taping of sewers can be a valuable tool in locating problems, documenting taps, and knowing the condition of sewers. Fix All Plumbing can give you a full-length tour of manhole and sewer conditions. On screen footage lets you know where the camera is at all times. Our built-in Inclinometer measures the slope and grade of the tile, and with the pan and tilt feature we can look up laterals and inspect the whole diameter of the sewer.

With our CCTV Sewer Inspection and Location Service, not only can we see inside the pipe up to 325ft away, but we can also locate precisely where the problem spot is at. This could mean the difference of a small repair vs. an entire line replacement that may not be necessary.

Tubs

When trying to clear a plugged bathtub drain, place a heavy cloth in the bottom of the bathtub so your shoe soles won't scratch the bath's enameled surface. Hold your hand or rag over the waste and overflow plate, cup the plunger over the drain and plunge it vigorously several times. If it doesn't open easily, the drain may require cabling to open it.

Heavy steel spring coils should not be used to clean traps under lavatories, sinks, or bathtubs. A more flexible type of wire or spring should be used -- one which is easy to work through the bend of the trap.
